beat goes on

death is liquid all around us
ocean deep in which we drown as
we tumble from the pier
all that we have held so dear

disappears while in transition
waves of waves now change position
who we were once coalesced
is now gone, we are much less

we're much more now we are flying
death is much much more than dying
we become what's all around
who we were, angelic sound

resonates and harmonizes
all within our moments wisest
glimpses, visions which we held
for a flash... life's ocean swell

now awakens, we're emerging
like a Monarch* with no urging
we know where we each must go
to await the time to grow

back into life's rebirthing
to another life on Earth in
a stream of love which glows
accelerates and also slows

in the never ending motion
flowing currents, plasma ocean
every end is a new start
a new beat in cosmic heart

summer rain falls

through the trees and through the bushes
a summer breeze blows and its whooshes
caresses skin, a soft embrace
as on and on it moves through space

through the forest's canyons deep
moving past this place we sleep
although now waking to the sound
of summer rain upon the ground -

summer rain falls on the inlet
on the shoreline where we once met
in the morning in my heart
now you've gone and we're apart

still I feel you, wish you were
here with me our minds a blur
of interaction, sitting still
I wish I wish I wish that we'll

be together once again
sharing love in summer rain
